Matt has been building ground-breaking web applications with his colleagues at Prater Raines for more than 20 years. His wealth of software development experience, dedicated research of client needs, and enthusiasm for open source has delivered numerous successful projects to UK political parties, businesses, and campaigning organisations.

His TYPO3 CMS for the Liberal Democrat party hosts 300 websites for regions and party groups across the country. The Lib Dems chose TYPO3 because it is enterprise-ready, hosting agnostic, and dependable – with proven use by large-scale federated organisations across Europe.

A keen member of the open source community, Matt helped organise the PHP London user group and the UK's largest PHP conference for many years and is active on Stack Overflow.

He lives in the Channel Islands with his wife and two children and enjoys quiz shows, cooking, board games and the Pokémon TCG.
